One the most difficult parts of studying populations that use bike and bike-like modes is in finding research subjects. Leveraging existing information and access to research participants from partners is an important part of our research collaborative. Access to research subjects greatly reduce the cost of our research, greatly increase the power of our research, and ultimately help us provide more conclusive research products.
One of the great aspects of being associated with ITS-Davis is the availability of project-level grant funding through a variety of federal, state, and regional sources. We leverage these opportunities in combination with the support of partner contributions to develop projects specific to our collaborative’s goals.
